My First Play

MY FIRST PLAY was NPC's first production, using a bold 3-camera setup, livestreaming, and digitally-mediated performance to explore the intersection of image and the internet. Two short plays examined how digital life shapes personal identity and self-perception, highlighting the alienation in human relationships in the digital age. Presented August 23rd-24th, 2024 at The Lillie Theatre.

Youtube.com/the-Family-family delved into the lives of YouTube influencer families, examining the relationship between childhood, content creation, and real life. Written & directed by Spencer Byham-Carson.

Earth Angel followed a young woman working at a reputation-laundering marketing agency, facing an unexpected client. Adaptation by Spencer Byham-Carson of Earth Angel written by Madeline Cash, directed by Pria Dahiya.
